What everyone is posting
What is the Ozil goal AI trend?
The Ozil goal trend is a short AI clip of a night match where the person on the ball is almost never a footballer. Grandads in cardigans, office workers in suits, someone’s mum in a dressing gown: they all get the same few seconds of glory under the floodlights.
The beats repeat in every version. A goalkeeper throws himself into a full flying dive and misses, the ball pops up and drops onto the chest, a defender slides in and ends up on the grass, and the clip runs on towards goal. Creators call the move the “Ozil bounce”, which is where the name comes from.
The joke is the contrast: a scene that looks like a broadcast highlight, starring someone who looks like they wandered in from a family barbecue. That is why the outfit in your photo matters as much as your face.

Three steps
How to make the Ozil AI goal video
- 1
Add one photo
A clear photo of one adult in good light, ideally head to toe. The outfit is half the joke, so a photo that shows it beats a tight face crop.
- 2
Press Make my video
Nothing to write or tune: the stadium, the players, the camera and the timing are already set. Sign in, pick a pack once, and the render starts.
- 3
Download and post
The 15-second vertical clip lands in My videos. Post it to TikTok, Reels or Shorts and switch on the AI-generated label where the app asks.
Second by second
Fifteen seconds, three beats
These frames come from a real clip made with this generator. Every render follows the same order and timing; the small details (kit colours, camera, where the keeper lands) change from one render to the next.
The flying keeper
You are already running with the ball under the floodlights when the goalkeeper launches a full dive, body flat in the air, and sails past you.
The Ozil bounce
The ball pops up over your head, drops onto your chest and you keep going, still in whatever you wore in the photo.
The slide and the finish
A defender comes in with a sliding tackle, misses, and is left on the grass while you carry the ball on towards goal.

This site or the CapCut template?
Most posts in the trend come from a CapCut template, and it is a fair option: it is free. Here is the honest difference.
| What | CapCut template | Ozil Goal |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Free | $8.90 a video, from $5.70 in packs |
| Where it runs | The CapCut app | Any browser, phone or computer |
| What you give it | Photos picked in the app | One photo |
| Clip length | Set by the template | 15 seconds |
| Account | CapCut / TikTok account | Google or an email code |
| If it goes wrong | Run it again | A failed render goes back to your balance |
| Watermark from us | Depends on the app | None |
Already have CapCut and the template opens for you? Try it first, it costs nothing. This site is for when you would rather not install another app, the template link will not open where you are, or you want the full 15-second clip from one photo. The longer comparison.
Before you upload
Choose a photo that works
Your photo decides two things: whether the face is recognisably you, and whether the outfit is funny. Thirty seconds here saves a retry.
Use
- One adult, alone in the photo
- Face clear, looking roughly at the camera
- Outfit visible: head to toe is best
- Daylight or a bright room
Skip
- Sunglasses, masks, a cap pulled over the eyes
- Group shots or a tiny face far away
- Plain green or white sports tops (they read as kit)
- Anyone famous, any child, anyone who has not agreed

Ozil AI goal: questions
How do I make the Ozil goal AI video?
Add one photo in the box at the top of this page, tick the permission box and press Make my video. There is no prompt to write and nothing to edit. About 5 to 8 minutes later you download a 15-second vertical MP4 with you on the ball.
Is one photo really enough?
Yes. The stadium, the keeper, the defender, the camera moves and the timing all come from the trend clip. Your photo only has to give the model your face, hair and outfit, so pick one where all three are easy to see.
Is it free?
No. One video is $8.90, three are $19.90 and seven are $39.90. You pay once, there is no subscription, and videos you have paid for never expire. If you want a free route, the CapCut template is free and we compare the two on this page.
Do I need CapCut, TikTok or an app?
No. It runs in any browser on iPhone, Android or a computer. You sign in with Google or an email code so your videos have somewhere to live, then download the MP4 and post it wherever you like.
Will it put me in a football kit?
It is asked not to: the joke works when you stay in your own clothes while everyone around you is in kit. AI output varies from render to render, so treat it as likely, not guaranteed.
How long does it take?
Usually 5 to 8 minutes. You can close the page while it renders; the finished clip waits in My videos.
What if the render fails?
The video goes straight back to your balance and you can try again with the same or a different photo. You only pay for videos that finish.
What photo works best?
One adult, face clear and towards the camera, even light, head to toe if you can. A suit, pyjamas, a dressing gown or a loud jumper reads funnier than sportswear. Skip sunglasses, hats pulled low, masks and plain green or white tops.
Can I use a photo of my dad, my nan or a friend?
Yes, if they are an adult and they said yes. Show them the clip before you post it. Do not upload footballers, celebrities, public figures, children or anyone who has not agreed.
What happens to my photo?
It is used only to make your video, processed by our video generation provider for that purpose, and deleted when the render ends. We do not publish your photos or videos, use them to train AI, or build face profiles.
How long are my videos kept?
Finished videos are kept for 30 days with the 1 video pack, and for 1 year once you have bought 3 or 7 videos. Download the ones you want to keep.
Is this connected to Mesut Ozil or a club?
No. The trend carries a footballer’s name and that is the only link. Ozil Goal is an independent tool, not affiliated with any player, club, league, federation or broadcaster. The clip is AI-generated: label it as AI where the platform asks.
